A new website is like a new shop on a quiet street: finished, ready and unknown. Search engines have no history for it, your Google Business Profile may not point at it yet, and no ads send anyone there. The after-launch growth plans exist to change that, and they start at $2,998 a month with a 7-day free trial, no credit card and no lock-in.
This page explains when to start one, what each plan covers, and what to watch in the first 90 days whether you hire us or not.
Why a new site doesn't bring calls on its own
Google tends to be cautious with a brand-new domain. It needs to crawl the pages, understand what you do and where, and see signals that real people find you useful. That takes time, and it is the reason "launch and wait" so often disappoints.
Three things speed it up:
- A Google Business Profile that links to the right page, with accurate categories, hours and service area.
- Reviews arriving steadily, because they influence both map rankings and whether a searcher taps your listing.
- Paid search for the first months, so you get calls while organic visibility builds.
If you do nothing else after launch, do the first one. It costs nothing but time.
The three plans
Each plan comes with no lock-in, is priced in Canadian dollars, and has GST/HST added at each Canadian client's provincial rate.
| Plan | Monthly | What it adds |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $2,998 | Site with SEO service pages, Google Business Profile and local SEO, a basic Google and Meta ads setup, monthly reports, hosting and maintenance |
| Growth | $4,498 | Starter plus deeper SEO and content, ads across several channels, retargeting, CRM integration, review generation and weekly reports |
| Elite | $8,998 | Growth plus video, PR outreach, a dedicated account manager, a live dashboard, monthly strategy calls and custom reports |
Most single-location companies start on Starter or Growth. Elite suits multi-branch companies, often alongside an Enterprise build. The full schedule is on our pricing page and at hvac.agency/pricing.
The first 90 days after launch
Whether or not you take a plan, this is the order we recommend. It's roughly what we do for clients.
- Days 1–7. Confirm tracking works: make a test call from the site, send a test text, check that analytics records both. Link Google Business Profile to the home page or main service page. Submit the sitemap in Search Console.
- Days 8–30. Ask your last 20 happy customers for a Google review, by text, with a direct link. Fix anything Search Console flags. If you run ads, send them to service pages, never the home page.
- Days 31–60. Look at which pages get visitors and which get calls. Pages with visitors and no calls need a clearer call to action or better proof. Pages with no visitors may need more depth.
- Days 61–90. Decide what to add: a page for a service people keep asking about, an area page for a town that keeps calling, or a seasonal push before the heating season.
BCWide.ca reached 3× leads in 90 days, which shows what a focused first quarter can do. It's an example, not a promise; your market and your starting point will differ.
Measuring a new site honestly
Early numbers are small, so read them carefully.
- Count enquiries, not visits. Fifty visits and four calls beats five hundred visits and none.
- Separate the sources. Calls from your Google Business Profile, from organic search and from ads each tell you something different.
- Compare month to month, and against the same month last year once you have a year of data. Heating businesses are seasonal, and October always looks better than June.
Mistakes in the months after launch
- Changing everything in week three. Give pages time to be crawled before rewriting them.
- Ads pointed at the home page. A heat pump search should land on the heat pump page.
- No one answering texts. If the site invites texts, someone must reply within minutes during business hours.
- Ignoring maintenance. Hosting and maintenance sit in your monthly package fee, so use them; for a deeper look at what website care plans involve, see Heat.Support.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a growth plan straight after launch?
Not necessarily. If you have steady referral work and just need a credible site, you can run on the hosting and care fee alone and watch the numbers. If the phone needs to ring more before the heating season, starting a plan at launch saves months.
What happens in the 7-day free trial?
Four checks happen that week: an audit of your digital marketing, a speed and usability test of your current site, an SEO review, and a comparison with the competitors your customers also see. No credit card is required, and you keep the findings whether or not you continue.
Can a growth plan promise more leads?
No honest plan can. What we can show you is the plan, the reasoning, what similar HVAC work has produced for named clients, and a report each month or week that shows what happened.
Is there a contract?
There's no lock-in. Ask us for the cancellation and notice terms in writing before you start, so there are no surprises later.
